Women's Walk for your Cause - Linda & Sue's Excellent Walk

Description:

 Linda and Sue were sad when they heard there was not going to be a Women's Fall Challenge this year, which is their traditional annual "walk/gossip/catch up on life" walk. So, we thought, "Let's walk anyway! And let's invite other women to walk with us, because maybe they're feeling the same way! And we can still donate some money!" (Yes, we really talk like that.) So, you wanna walk with us?

Here's our idea:

1. Donate a suggested minimum amount of $25 to the cause/charity of your choice (honour system--we will not be keeping track or giving out receipts).
2. Informal event: no speeches, no warm-up, no photographers, no coffee/snacks/water (bring your own), no prizes, no swag, no sponsors, no music (but please feel free to sing out loud).
3. Baby strollers and well-behaved dogs (or husbands) on leashes are welcome!
4. Linda and Sue will be walking the 5-K route, but you are welcome to run or walk to your heart's content.
5. There will be no prize/awards event after -- we may meet up for a drink at Barkerville Brewing though...
