The Chamber organizes several projects and events throughout the year. These projects help to promote our many businesses, products and services in Quesnel and the district. These projects can vary from year to year.
The annual Business Excellence Awards highlight businesses that stand out in the community. Businesses are nominated by members of the public and judged by an impartial judging committee. Winners are announced at the awards evening during Small Business Week in October.
The Quesnel Tradeshow has become an annual event for local businesses to showcase their products and services. The event will be held at the Arena 2 May 3 and 4, 2025. It hosts a wide variety of businesses and non-profits.
The Chamber does engage in specific projects it deems interesting or relevant to the business community, such as Business After Hours, Luncheon Sessions, 12@12, lobbying and advocacy efforts. This years AGM will be located at the Marsh House on May 14, 2025. Guest speakers will include Osisko Gold Mine Project and Greg Andrews Insurance.
